| The Saintly City Cat Club was
formed in 1974 and has been
continually active since then.
.
As a person who shares our love of cats, we invite you to broaden your involvement with these
wonderful creatures and consider joining our group.
Our club was formed to gain from the experience of others; have and provide educational opportunities
for ourselves and other cat lovers; encourage ethical breeding; hold cat shows and promote interest
in and knowledge of purebred cats; and support organizations engaged in the care, welfare and health of the cat. It is licensed
by and operates under the guidelines of The Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc.
We hold our meetings at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month.
We are a financially successful club. Over the last ten years, we have been able to donate over $30,000
to various local and national organizations in accordance with our established donation guidelines. In keeping with our purpose
of promoting the health and wellbeing of felines, 40% of our donations are distribulted to humane
organizations such as Feline Rescue, 40% to feline medical research and 20% to CFA to support legal and regional activities.
We work well together and enjoy mutual respect. Our current membership is a combination of breeders
and of owners of mixed breed or purebred pets.
We are a federally registered, tax reporting, non-profit organization.
Are you ready to get more involved with cats? Want to find out what goes into producing a cat
